X-Ray HSG (Hysterosalpingogram) is a contrast radiographic procedure used to examine the uterus and fallopian tubes. Contrast dye is injected into the uterus through the cervix, and X-ray images are taken to check the shape of the uterus and patency (opening) of fallopian tubes. Purpose: Used to detect infertility causes, blocked fallopian tubes, uterine abnormalities, fibroids, polyps, and adhesions.
