X-Ray Chest Oblique View is a specialized imaging test used to examine the chest structures from an angled position. In this view, the patient is positioned at a slight rotation between the front and side, allowing better visualization of the ribs, lungs, and certain hidden areas of the chest that may not be clearly seen in standard PA or lateral views. This X-ray is particularly useful for detecting rib fractures, lung lesions, and abnormalities behind the heart or diaphragm. The procedure is quick, painless, and usually completed within a few minutes.
Includes 4 Test Parameters
Radiographic imaging with the patient rotated at an angle (usually 45 degrees).
To isolate specific lung lesions or rib fractures not visible in standard views.
Angled visualization of the thoracic cavity and ribs.
Useful for evaluating abnormalities behind the heart or diaphragm.
