X-Ray Chest AP View (Anteroposterior View) is a diagnostic imaging test used to examine the lungs, heart, ribs, and chest structures. In this view, the X-ray beam passes from the front (anterior) to the back (posterior) of the chest. It is usually performed when the patient is unable to stand, such as in ICU, emergency, or bedridden conditions. This test helps in detecting lung infections, pneumonia, tuberculosis, fluid in lungs, heart enlargement, and chest injuries. The procedure is quick, painless, and typically completed within a few minutes.
